Te Waiariki Purea Trust & Waka Ama New Zealand have acknowledged the enormous contribution that Rawiri Rangitauira made to the National Secondary Schools Waka Ama Regatta and to Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Ruamata. No doubt he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

NB: Any team causing damage to any W6/12 contracted waka will incur the cost of the repairs which will be charged to the team’s school. All contracted W6/12 waka are used solely for competition. No contracted waka may be taken or used for training purposes while contracted to the event.
