Te Arawa Whānau Ora Collective Members
Connecting whānau and communities with the services you need.
The Te Arawa Whānau Ora Charitable Trust was formalised on 26 June 2013 by seven providers based in Rotorua and Maketu. These collective members are known as Te Arawa Whānau Ora. They are:

- Korowai Aroha Health Centre
- Maketu Health & Social Services
- Te Papa Tākaro o Te Arawa Sports Trust
- Te Roopu a Iwi o Te Arawa Charitable Trust
- Te Runanga o Ngāti Pikiao
- Te Waiariki Purea Trust
- Ngāti Manawa Charitable Trust
- Te Runanga o Ngāti Whare
- Te Arawa Whānau Ora ki Mangakino
Te Arawa Whānau Ora also supports paeārahi based in Murupara, Minginui and Mangakino. Te Runanga o Ngāti Whare and Ngāti Manawa Charitable Trust are associates of our collective.
The Te Arawa Whānau Ora office has two paeārahi onsite. Please contact our paeārahi – Hinehou Stoneham and Jasmine Pomare – for assistance in achieving your goals by completing a Whānau Ora Plan.

A support service for cancer sufferers and their families.
Whilst still a member of our collective, Aroha Mai Cancer Support Services currently does not have a paeārahi. Aroha Mai is a voluntary team whose aim is to extend support to cancer sufferers and their whānau.

Maketu Health & Social Services’ kaupapa is to develop, promote, purchase and provide culturally appropriate programmes and services that will enhance, through support and education, the health and welfare of the people of Maketu and the surrounding districts.

Te Papa Tākaro o Te Arawa encourages iwi development across the Te Arawa region through wellness and healthy lifestyle promotion, physical activity, kaupapa Te Arawa/Māori approaches, programmes and events.

Te Roopu a Iwi o Te Arawa Charitable Trust – also known as Maatua Whāngai – is an approved Iwi/Māori Social Service provider that delivers a range of services and programmes to the community.

Te Runanga o Ngāti Pikiao aims to meet the needs of ngā uri o Ngāti Pikiao, the descendants of Ngāti Pikiao by providing three key service areas – training, health and social services.

Te Waiariki Purea Trust is a community organisation providing youth services & development, a variety of whānau-focused services and outdoor programmes.

Ngāti Manawa Charitable Trust is an associate of the Te Arawa Whānau Ora Collective and their service provider is Te Ika Whenua Hauora who provide medical and health services.
