July 2017: Shona says they were some transitional adjustments but Koro has settled in and the rūnanga continued to give ongoing support for the whole family.

His niece has been amazing. She was really onto it and has helped him get a RealMe account and into the system. We’re here to help support her and to be able to enable that empowerment for Koro.”

Shona says the big picture is still to get him his own independence and in a Council home but it was good to have Koro safe and warm this winter.
