Te Arawa Whānau Ora Māori Cancer Seminar
Each year, approximately 25,000 people are diagnosed with cancer in Aotearoa, with nearly 3,000 of those people being Māori. Māori are also twice as likely to die from cancer as non-Māori. The first step for us is to understand where to start, then create awareness and programmes to try and create positive change within our community.
