Headed by the founder of the Trust Mike King, he will deliver their “It’s Cool to Kōrero programme” alongside Tai Tupou. They are set to present at Rotorua Lakes High, Rotorua Boys High and Reporoa College. The aim: to look at TargetZero suicides in Aotearoa.
Coroner Wallace Bain will join Mike in discussing suicide reporting and the Law Commission, and issues relating to suicide, bullying, social media, drugs and alcohol.
This is a not-to-be-missed chance for local service providers to come together and discuss how to support our communities and each other to survive and thrive. Local award-winning Ministry of Youth Development Change Maker award recipient, Arianna Cudby will also accompany the tour.
This event is supported by Te Rūnanga of Ngāti Pikiao, Engage Aotearoa, Lakes District Health Board and Ngāti Kea Ngāti Tuara Rūnanga Trust.
