Drive to open education doorway

Rangatahi will be gaining an insight into new and exciting careers with an education drive through Te Waiariki Purea Trust.

Youth Service team leader, Leanne Poutu-Graham says their most recent drive will give young people an opportunity to engage in education.

With the exciting new Career Fit course offered by EmployNZ, the first week of our Education Drive initiative will see our rangatahi getting an in-depth look at what EmployNZ has to offer,” she says.

“We are confident that this will set a solid foundation that other education providers can build on over the coming weeks, and we are confident that our young people will find the best education fit for them.”

Youth Service is always looking for more rangatahi to sign up. Their NEET service (Not in Education, Employment or Training) age range is from 16 to 18-years-old.

“We’re always looking for more rangatahi to sign up with us and get the support they need!! Our age range for our NEET service is 16 to 18 years-old.”
